The Brazil research group
The Brazil research group (Brasil Grupo de Pesquisa) at Østfold University College in Norway was established after the signing of an agreement of intention between the Universidade Federal do Espiríto Santo (UFES) and Østfold University College (OUC) on July 14th 2010. A similar agreement was signed with the Universidade Católica Pontifícia do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) June 7th 2011. These agreements include exchange of researchers, teachers, students and developing research projects together.
The main goal for the Brazil research group is to be a meeting place for researchers interested in comparative studies between Norway and Brazil. The group seeks also to create and strengthen research networks between Norway and Brazil.
Activities in the Brazil research group are to keep each other informed of research funding’s, conferences, newsletters. The group is also concerned with applying for funding’s and carrying out research projects together.
Students are more than welcome to both join the research group and to participate in research projects.
